Active signal restoration for the telegraph equation
We compensate by a prefilter the distortion of an input signal along an electric line modeled by the telegraph equation. The prefilter is based on the so-called flatnessproperty of the telegraph equation. We derive the explicit equation of the filter and illustrate the relevance of our approach by a few simulations.
متن کاملAn Inverse Problem for the Telegraph Equation
This paper deals with the problem of state estimation for a hyperbolic equation in the presence of unknown, but bounded disturbances, on the basis of information from sensors with finite-dimensional outputs. The object of investigation is the hyperbolic telegraph equation with energy dissipation. Observability properties similar to those introduced earlier for parabolic systems ([8]) are checke...
متن کاملthe search for the self in becketts theatre: waiting for godot and endgame
this thesis is based upon the works of samuel beckett. one of the greatest writers of contemporary literature. here, i have tried to focus on one of the main themes in becketts works: the search for the real "me" or the real self, which is not only a problem to be solved for beckett man but also for each of us. i have tried to show becketts techniques in approaching this unattainable goal, base...
15 صفحه اولThe Wave Equation: Control and Numerics∗
In these Notes we make a self-contained presentation of the theory that has been developed recently for the numerical analysis of the controllability properties of wave propagation phenomena and, in particular, for the constant coefficient wave equation. We develop the so-called discrete approach. In other words, we analyze to which extent the semidiscrete or fully discrete dynamics arising whe...
